Congratulations to Marija Šimić and Marko Marinić alumni of ZSEM. Marija has gotten an Erasmus Mundus scholarship to study MS in Strategic Project Management in a program which requires her to be five months in Edinburgh, five months in Politecnico di Milano and five months at Umea University in Sweden. Marko has competed with students from Austria and Slovenia to get an scholarship of the Taiwanese government. He was the awarded one in so competitive contest.

Marija and Marko were very dedicated students during their staying at ZSEM and we desire them success in their masters.

On Thursday, May 20th, a meeting was held with 11 Master students from St.Ambrose University, Iowa.  These students have been attending ZSEM's MBA-management class "Leadership" (Prof.Dan Ebner) together with Croatian students.  In the meeting, Prof.Maja Martinovic, ZSEM's Vice Dean participated to greet them as well as prof.Ivona Skreblin who is teaching HRM in MBA-management. 

On Monday, May 17th, Dr.Yang, Dean of School of Labor Economics of Capital University of Economics and Business, Beijing, China visited ZSEM.  Along with Dr.Yang, Dr.Zhang, Deputy Dean, 2 professors, Dr.Liu and Ms.Wei, M.Sc. visited us as well.  The purpose of the visit was to seek possibility for estalishing an academic collaboration between two institutions and our Dean, Dr.Njavro was pleased to have them at ZSEM.  During their stay in Croatia, International Office organized a field trip to Opatija, Kumrovec as well as centar. 

On Tuesday, May 5th, the Mid-Term Meeting for Exchange students was held.  The purpose of the meeting was to see if students had any problems or special issues to share with International Office.  Exchange students participated in the meeting to share as well their experiences and their comments about their stay and study at ZSEM.
